  • STIs are common and can cause serious health problems if left untreated. Most of the time, people infected with an STI feel fine and don’t have any symptoms. The Project STAY clinic provides screening and treatment for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, trichomoniasis, mpox, HSV, and hepatitis. We can also provide doxyPEP for immediate or future needs.

  • 1 in 7 New Yorkers living with HIV don’t know they have it. We offer HIV screening in our clinic and at our events with participating community organizations.

At our Center for Young Adults (CYA), we provide HIV treatment and care for adolescents and young adults ages 14-29, with easy care transition to adult HIV care services for people aged 30+. We offer the latest treatment options, including injectable antiretroviral medication.

CYA is a “medical home” for young people living with HIV, and our patients can receive additional services including STI screening and treatment, birth control, HRT, mental health services, primary care, and more.

  • PrEP and PEP are great options to keep you safe from getting HIV. PrEP is a medication that can be taken as a once-a-day pill or a bi-monthly injection that prevents you from getting infected with HIV. PEP is an emergency HIV prevention medication that can be taken up to 72 hours after having unprotected vaginal or anal sex. PEP is available at our clinic, and emergency rooms can also provide a “starter dose” of PEP. PEP is highly effective at preventing you from acquiring HIV after a potential exposure to the virus.

Get connected with our clinic's PrEP coordinators to find out if PrEP is right for you! Check-up visits and testing are required every 3 months. We offer connection to PrEP insurance navigation and free PrEP for uninsured clients.

  • You have the right to choose when and if you and your partner would like to get pregnant – let us help provide a birth control method that is right for you. We provide counseling on birth control options, free samples of birth control pills, Depo, and NuvaRing (to get you started). We provide prescriptions to keep you going on the method you choose. We also provide referrals to the Family Planning Clinic for IUDs and implants. Come get free condoms and lube at our community events and in the clinic!

  • Some people of transgender experience are interested in using hormones in their gender affirmation process. We offer safe and effective hormonal treatment and monitoring, routine lab tests, hormone replacement therapy, T-blockers, and surgical referrals.

  • During your sexual health visit, we can offer primary health care like physicals and check-ups. We also offer screening for tuberculosis (TB), sports and work physicals, and vaccinations, including the HPV, mpox, and hepatitis vaccines. If you need smoking cessation services, we can provide nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) as well as prescription medication.
